What’s Love Got To Do With It – by Chris Flick

Since schoolwork is beginning to pile up, I’ve made the decision to start my guest strip week a little early.  It was going to be next week, but instead it’s going to start today and continue Friday and next Monday.  Don’t fret, though!  You WILL find out what happens with Raul, Julie, Chet, and the clowns.  It’ll just have to wait a week.

Anyway!  Today’s strip is lovingly crafted by Chris Flick of Capes N’ Babes fame.  Chris is also my excellent co-host of the Lightbox Podcast.  Roy the werewolf just happens to be one of my favorite webcomic characters, so I was thrilled to see him interacting with the Big Sandy crew.  Go check out Capes N’ Babes, if you haven’t already.  You’ll love it!

I sure would appreciate it if you would socially bookmark this comic!

    Hey Matt, I was happy to help out. It was fun putting my own little spin on Camille and Dan. Hopefully, that came through in the strip as well. :-)

    You did! I loved seeing them in clothes. Camille’s clothes had me cracking up, for some reason.

    Great guest-strip, Chris! I enjoyed seeing these two worlds come together.

    It is very cool to see these two comics together. Funny.

    Now I’m wondering… what happened between panels 3 and 4 – was there a ditch involved or not?

  6. Chris Flick

    Nope, no “ditch” – at least not in the “let’s go get a shovel and dig” kind of way. Camille just didn’t appreciate Roy’s pick-up line so she used her porcupine needles to prove a point. ;-)

    Don’t you just hate it when that happens? Good strip. Clothed animals can be funnier than nekkid ones.

  8. Matt Stout

    I guess for Camille, gettin lucky and gettin ditched have the same end result.

    @Bo Lumpkin…
    It’s even funnier when the animals are dressed in 80′s outfits! You can’t beat that!
    When I was doing my initial warm-up sketch of Camille, her quills reminded me of Tina Turner (also the reason why Roy calls her that in the first panel). From there, it just struck me as she would be the type of person to wear a torn up sweatshirt ala “Flashdance.

    And now you know…. THE REST of the story.

    ;-)
